Vlaške region, northeastern Serbia; Wallachian name for a 2-voiced type in D, with a straight chanter without bell; According to Vukosavljević these "characteristically small-sized types are nowadays [i.e. 1970s; ws] used only in the music life of the "vlaško" [i.e. Wallachian] inhabitants in the north-east region of Serbia", and "they appear to be close to the Leskovac version (➺ Gajdanica) of the makedonsko-južno-moravske type"; NB¹: ➺ homonyms; NB²: ➺ Karaba and similar terms.
